I am here because one day I woke up and wanted to start a blog that focuses on law, life and keeping well.

I am a lawyer in Sydney, Australia. I work long, stressful hours, strive to meet tight deadlines and feel the constant pressure to succeed from every facet of my professional life. This year I have decided to focus on improving my mental and physical health.

For the past few years, I have been feeling constantly tired, drained and stressed. I finally decided to bite the bullet and try to change my lifestyle. You guys are unlucky enough to read about my attempts to improve my health and wellbeing whilst working in a profession that is renowned for churning people up and spitting them out.

The incidence of poor mental health in lawyers is deeply concerning. Statistics estimate that 1 in 3 lawyers will experience symptoms of depression.
